Had a small gramma die a few days ago but cant find the body. So far no ammonia spike, i havnt seen my CUC drag anything out. It was a small fish-no more than an inch. Tank is a 90gal system (72g DT) all parameters seem good.
I have 15 hermits, and at least 80 various snails, 3 shrimp.

Do I need to go on a hunt lifting rocks or can I just monitor parameters and let nature do its thing?

gramma actually love to hide and still might be alive. Imo its not worth looking around for as your clean up crew would make quick work of a small dead fish if it does end up that way.

Whilke they are good jumpers, they also often end up in tank overflow and even sump via hoses. Check those spots also

Should be fine as long as your tank is established. When I have been worried about something like this I tend to dose with MicroBacter7.. not sure if has truly help anything than easing my mind. Either way figured extra bacteria in these cases never hurt.

With that size cleanup crew I would be surprised if you would find much after a couple days. In 90 gallons it probably won't spike ammonia noticeably. I would just keep an eye on parameters. I will however defer to those here with more experience.
