I'm sorry for the Texas coast but it's going to bring much needed rain to the Midwest. The rain that we have had hasnt been nearly enough.

This is why I live where the weather makes your face hurt. I’d rather not deal with death storms with 150mph winds.

So I just got done busting my butt to clear up some gross algae nonsense. Multiple water changes, changing filter pads every couple of hours while scrubbing with a toothbrush, added a nano-skimmer (which involved digging through our storage unit). Proud as hell is an understatement. Went on vacay for a week. Got back Fri nite 3am, we're located in Port Lavaca. I've got a small inverter on stand-by ready to go. Crossing fingers 1st pics were 2 weeks ago. 2nd 2 were today.

Luckily, Hurricane Beryl moved away from our shores here in Mexico and although we were already prepared for its arrival, after what Hurricane Grace did 3 years ago I really hope it doesn't happen again.
