Hi everyone
I am on the east coast of Canada and we just got word that Dorian will be coming for us this weekend, either as a Category 1 hurricane, or a very strong tropical storm. This won’t be the first hurricane I’ve been through with my tanks, but it will be the first with coral. I unfortunately had a 3000 dollar vet bill recently, so I’m unable to buy a generator this week to protect my corals, so we’ll be stuck with the good ole bucket method of oxygenation. I’ll be doing big water changes on both tanks Friday night and prepping water for water changes later in case the power goes out. Just curious if anyone here has any tips or tricks for riding out storms beyond the general internet information on maintaining oxygen. Best of luck to everyone else who’s been effected by this mess!
