So... What do you all use to clean the detritus off of your rock/aquascaping? I feel like by the time I am done blowing off my rocks with my turkey baster, my entire tank looks like a swamp. Then when I do my water change I can only get out 10-20% of the mess I just made. Very frustrating. TIA

I put in a filter sock after the turkey bast blast to catch it. Also, you can wait ten minutes and let it all settle in the bottom and then siphon it out.

I don’t feel like the idea is to get it all out. There are lots of filter feeders that will eat that stuff. As long as you keep up with it so it doesn’t build up too much, just getting the excess out is good enough.
+1 on the sock/filter floss collecting a good deal of it too.

Just keep blowing your rocks once a day if you want it done quickly or once a week to do it over time but it will eventually go away on its own as long as you don’t have dead spots.
