Hybrid Bean animal... Need help

Just wondering if this will work out. Adding the airline to the middle line of course. Wondering if gap difference on the 2 bigger pipes is close to right. 1/2" or so. Where on the middle pipe should I put the airline?

I'd say that the emergency is too high. On start up, you want it to start taking flow before the Open Channel and the airline should terminate just above the top of the emergency.

The way that yours is currently set up, the open channel will be taking a ton of flow on start up and may prevent the siphon from purging the air in it.

When first tuning the system, start with the siphon valve wide open. After the overflow box fills then drains, slowly start closing the valve to make the water level rise. My sweet spot is where the water level is at the mid-way point of the siphon bulkhead. Yours may be different. Be prepared to be frustrated when trying to find the sweet spot, especially if using a ball valve.

This drain system is incredible. It really is dead silent.

You can see on mine that I turned the emergency to the side so that it will start taking water earlier than if it was straight up. My open channel is a bit too low, and as a result it takes a while for the system to stabilize on startup.

What is on the outside of the tank? As pictured, this looks ok for the inside parts. You don't need the homemade screen on the e-drain.

You can use what you have pictured if you plumb the outside tank pieces correctly.
