Made ya look! Just a BGM with a funny "HERNIA!" It's had the hernia for like a month already and it puffs up when it's happy. Anyone ever seen something like this before or know what I should expect.

looks like a cell wall that let go, its actually pretty unique looking...u looking to sell it:wink:??? Haha its nothing to worry about IMHO
 
I had a fungia plate do something like that. It finally popped one day and left some skeleton exposed. No big deal though it's alive and well.

Hahahaha nice! Good to see this sort of thing happens. Too bad you can't frag the bubble.
 
My favias have shown the same sort of thing before. It doesn't seem to do any harm and I'm not sure what causes them. I've even seen them on sps as well.
 
So you guys don't think these hemorrhoids are caused by excessive straining or constipation?
 
I understand you wish to be funny, let's just keep thing like this in the lounge or out of general reef...


It always seems to occur on healthy growing corals for me.
