I'm putting together my 4th reef tank, a 65 gallon (36"x18"x24") mixed reef with mostly sps. I currently have a 2 bulb reef brite fixture and a 50/50 reef brite XHO mounted in the canopy about 4" from the water.

There's about 5 inches between the t5 and xho to add more lighting.

Option 1: add a reef brite xho actinic strip. All lighting hidden within canopy and no fan noise.

Option 2: add 2 kessil a80s for better shimmer. No fan noise and thin enough to mount in canopy. Worried not enough light.

Option 3: add 2 kessil a160s or 2 red sea reefled 50s. Would have to cut holes and mount on top of canopy.

Okay, black Friday sale, I went with 3 Kessil A80s.
