The LEAR frag swap was today, I was unable to attend because of my injury. But a good friend of mine said he would take the few pieces I sold up and bring back what I bought for me. I'm glad to have a good friend that would be willing to do that for me.

But sorry for the crappy cell pic, I turned my halides off so they didn't get light shocked. But I'll list what they are starting from the left front to back:

Nothing super important here, more of a "ugh, frustrating" moment lol

Gave the frag system a good cleaning last night. I'll snap a pic later, but I cleaned my mp10s. I put them back on and the one on the left side it sounds like the bearing in the dry side crapped the bed (somewhat easy fix) and the wetside on the other one chirps like a bird every once and a while. I'm going to try some silicone grease to see if it helps, if not I guess I'll have to buy a new wetside

Got a little more done on the new sump last night. I took a piece of black acrylic and drilled it to hold 4 murlock bulkheads for ato,CaRX effluent and whatever else. I used weldon 4 to attach it to the rim of the tank. I was going to paint the bulkheads either black or green but they will be behind the skimmer so you really won't see the white I suppose.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how this sump is turning out so far. Next up is making the clear acrylic green to match the plumbing. Hopefully that will be in next week.

Thank you! So far I'm pretty impressed with the new sump so far. Still have a couple more things to add. Hoping in the next week or 2 it'll be ready to get wet.

Got bored watching TV so I did a couple more things to the sump (I really need to get this thing wet lol, but I keep coming up with more ideas of stuff to do to it)

I ordered some florescent green headlight tint and covered the clear parts of my baffle kit. So now the adjustable skimmer baffle and the filter sock holder are now green to match the plumbing. I think it turned out pretty decent for an additional $6 haha

Next up is some glass etching. I'm thinking of etching skimmer section depth (inches) and fill line for the return pump section. I'm also trying to think of something creative to incorporate r2r on it. Any ideas?

I don't really have any ideas right now being it's 130 in the morning and I'm extremely tired, but that looks awesome!

I wonder if the clear pieces should be done in fluorescent acrylic. I hadn't really thought about trying to make them look cool as well as functional.

I'm sure there are ppl that prefer it either way. I was going to ask you about it but figured since this was the 1st one no need to really push it. I think the kit looks fantastic either way!
