I'm curious how the GFCI stuff worked out, and wondering if you have AFCI breakers at the panel PLUS the GFCI outlet maybe... ?

I haven't done anything to remedy this and the trips have become practically gone. It might trip once every few weeks if that now, very strange.

Yea I haven't changed much setup wise in the last few months. With the holidays and working a bunch of OT at work I haven't been giving my tank the attention it deserves haha. I won't go as far as saying that I've neglected it *cough* @mdbannister, but other than water changes and dosing nopox I haven't done much to my tank

I really need to write up a solid update here soon lol.

Not a super great update, but just a quick video I took of the tank as I dosed red sea reef energy part a&b under actinics. I call it the green fog lol

Dang George, you do the nopox thing.
I killed a whole reef tank a couple years ago with nopox. Rtn stn it trashed my tank, color went south, and that was it.
But I'm sure you know the risk

It's crazy but nopox actually has helped keep my tank going for the last year or so. I keep telling myself to go get vodka so I can make my own nopox but I haven't been to a liquor store in some time lol.

That's good. I tried both and I couldn't keep clean the cyno from the vodka dosing. Nopox is a much better method.

I agree, all nopox is is vodka, vinegar and to water haha. I have the recipe around here somewhere

Yeah the big difference I found in the 2, wene i was dosing, was vodka has more sugar in it I believe.
And redsea throws in methanol or something special like that.

This year will be 12 years. I got him in 2006.

Yea this fish is something else. When he came in from blue zoo I thought he was going to die on me. Super skinny, not eating and tattered fins. Blue zoo actually extended his guarantee from 14 days to 30 days after I sent them pics lol.

Here is one of him from 2006 when I first got him and put him in my 75 gallon (tang police don't shoot! Lol)

He's been thru 3 tank transfers (75 to 6' 120 gallon to the 180) 2 battles with ich that completely wiped out all other fish besides him, a war between himself and my desjardini in which cost him a year of solitude in my frag tank.

He now looks like this
