Milwaukee co2 regulator w/20lb co2 bottle
I must say, the Milwaukee lives up to its reputation. It's tough to dial in and everyone online has a different way with how they have it set up. After all night last night and most of this early morning, I figured out that turning the pressure up to 20psi was the easiest way to get the regulator to supply bubbles at a somewhat consistent rate. It's still fast for my liking so I am hoping to have mess with it more tomorrow.
If anyone is curious as to how I set up my reactor to run I used this video as a guide
Right now I have it set to turn on at 7.4 ph and turn off at 7.3ph. The regulator is putting out about a bubble every 2 seconds and that is making the solenoid to turn on for roughly 2 minutes, and then off for a tick under 20 minutes. My end goal is to get those times much closer together, but of I slow the bubbles down too much they will eventually become very inconsistent and it will not drop the ph in the reactor at all, very frustrating.
For now I am going to continue to use this regulator because even though it's not to my liking it still works and does its job. I will be building my own custom dual stage in the future so stay tuned for that!

Here is a better pic of my Geo's Reef media reactor and how I have it plumbed. You can't really see the plumbing from the front so much.
I of course painted the ball valve to match the plumbing lol

Here is the layout for the new electronic equipment. I'll be cutting and drilling most likely tomorrow. Then I'll paint and then start mounting everything.
I left room for 2 more modules and another eb8 if I ever need the space. I thought I had a 3rd open spot in the top right corner but I forgot about my breakout box. So I will mount it there.

Thanks Kevin! I think it looks pretty good so far. I still have a couple more things to plumb up. I'm hoping to start the next item to be plumbed in the next few days

Water change and some rearranging of the racks in the frag tank. I put the black egg crate rack back in along with one of the higher racks from my blue glow set. Looks much cleaner now

New electronic board starting to come together. It's getting late and I'm tired so I hooked up the essentials (return, heater, CaRX and a couple others) to get it thru the night and will hopefully finish tomorrow. I think it's coming out pretty ok though.

So I got this bad boy all cleaned up and ready to be hooked up
36 inches of dual circulating, tiny bubble making goodness lol. I have officially gone full Geo's Reef equipment lol. Is it because my name is George? Or is it because the equipment is top notch? Or a little of both? Lol
I'll be running this externally. It would fit in my stand and sump but man it'll eat up any free room I have under there haha. I'm going to use my bio pellet reactor to feed the skimmer and then have it return back by my drains to go thru the filter socks again. I'll be running 2 sedra 5000 pumps on this for now. I would like to upgrade them to a nicer pump eventually, I'm thinking ehiem.

He does but only by special order now I believe. It's a tank of a skimmer, even the skimmer cup lid is heavy compared to other lids I've seen
