Night vision is def not a strong suit for this camera, but it wasn't really why I got it so I wasn't too upset about it

yea but it doesn't recognize the moon lights it becool if we could switch the lights on and off cause it does it sometimes by itself clicks on and off and when it does I can see fine I sent an email to them hopefully

Well it is cool shows u how bad my glass is tho and I don't know if it's just my internet connection but it kinda skips a lil but I did get this gem

Most likely because the moonlights don't put out enough light to get thru the lens to keep out of night mode. Def sucks but most cameras will most likely struggle with this

Try restarting your router to see if that helps. Mine skips a bit here and there as well. It's because the signal goes up and down a bit as it streams, not much you can really do about that besides get insanely fast Internet with a crazy router lol

Do u have a reeflink? Since setting the camera up reeflink keeps saying pump 3 is loseing connection and I should not worry about it

Here's the thing my reeflink is hard wired so I have no idea what's going on any ideas??

I have since moved the camera to my ghetto frag rack and I am at work this thing is well worth the 25 dollars also in doing this it has been moved closer to my wifi and is streaming like a champ

So by setting this up I have now seen my fish do things they never do when I'm at home which is pretty cool I'm a stalker

My clowns ride the wavs my fox face destroys the nori clip and the sailfin and Atlantic blue tang go after the remains and all of my fish attack the algae on my frags it's so fun I have everyone at work asking me to watch

Lastly did u happen to add an sd card?i think I'm a grab one on the way home and mess with the saving ability

No I don't have a reeflink, I have a wxm for my apex.

Haha no I don't mind, having discussions about similar products we have is always welcome here!

The HW is recovering. It took a hit from whatever issue I had recently. It browned out pretty bad but I can see polyps so that is always a positive sign.

I'm having a cyano issue on my sandbed, when my halides are on it covers a decent amount of the sand. After a night of lights out and when the Reefbrite comes on it is just about mostly gone. Could I need a bulb swap soon? Thoughts from anyone?

I change my ati t5s every 7 - 9 months. I know they're supposed to last 12 but not for me. That all depends on your photo period.

My radiums are on 6 hrs a day, so it's possible I need to swap out. No noticable shift in spectrum though

They should last 9 months with those hours. Is your house open due to nicer temps? I always get cyano the 1st month of spring and when it cools enough after summer. What I do is half dose chemiclean at night and leave everything ad it is. It'll go away in a few days.

I might pick up some chemiclean or something similar to help. Like I said it really only shows up when the halides kick on for a bit. Tomorrow when I wake up the sand will be mostly clean

I finally get around to testing nitrates using the red sea pro kit. It's brand new so I don't really doubt the results.

As you can see they are way high. Uuuugh! I feel like such a rookie. Heavy feedings with 4 larger fish finally caught up to me. Time to take action! I'm trying to plan the best course of action here and most cost effective as well. I'm thinking of using red sea NoPox to get them down initially. After that I'm not sure, gfo imo is probably the better way to go but is it the most cost effective? Carbon dosing I feel is the best cost effective way to do it but manual dosing is out, if I ever leave for any amount of time I don't want to depend on someone to do it for me. I suppose I could hook it up to a dosing pump if need be.

I'm also going to upgrade my feed pump for my skimmer, I'm starting to think that the small quiet one isn't enough to really do much with this monster skimmer.

Other than that anyone else have some suggestions? I'm all ears at this point lol
