Hi All,
Thought I'd share this incase it helps someone else.
Recently my ATO pump power supply failed and after replacing the power supply the pump ran continuously regardless of what the Hydor ATO was doing. So I opened up the ATO control box to see if I could figure out the issue. Close inspection showed the triac that the controller uses as a relay to switch the pump had failed dead short meaning the pump output was constantly live.
Despite being an SMD if you've got basic soldering skills it's pretty straightforward to replace.
The P/N of the triac itself is Z0109NN.
Spec: 800V, 1A, 10Ma sense, SOT223 package.
