Hi guys,
I purchased a 240 for my 8 gallon reef. Holy cow! Where do you guys put these in your nano tanks? It literally blew my Goni off the rock and was like a hurricane in my tank. I pulled it out after 20 min of trying to find a safe spot.
Guys at the LFS said I should have one for the dead spots in the back of my rock. Anyone with a 10 ga or less tank that uses one of these?
Thanks,
Steph

It works fine in my 10 gallon. What are the dimensions of your tank?

I tried one in my 8g bio-cube couple years back. Way to much flow!!! No matter where I put it.
You could try putting it on a wave maker. Otherwise its just going to be to much.

The inside of the tank part is
11" wide x 8 1/2" front to back x 11 1/2 high
It's an Aqueon Evolve 8

The best advice I can give you is to keep it lower in the tank and point it toward the surface. I'm sure you've tried that though. Tank just doesn't seem long enough. I get 20" in length to push my water, almost double your max dimension.

It seems like it would be perfect in a 10-12 ga. I may try to just put a double head nozzle on my pump and shoot them in opposite directions?
