Hydor Performer 150-800/705 alternative pump

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone out there will have a suggestion for me.

I purchased this skimmer for my setup, fully knowing no pump was included.
My downfall was assuming sourcing the pump would be an easy task, this has been anything but easy.

Im looking for suggestions of an alternative pump I could use for this skimmer. I’m less concerned about making adaptations to the pipe work as I’m capable of the task.

Those skimmers are incredible at pulling gunk from the water; a true beast. I’d have to look because I may have that unit and two (2) more that are the larger size; all not being used. I was crushed when they got phased out because I needed a part that was missing for one unit— half a union connector if I remember right. I wish you the best in your search.

PS: Where did you buy the unit “without” the pump?
