Hello,

My hydor slim slim nano 135.35 doesn't skim the water surface.

Can you upload an image showing how you have it configured/setup?

Yeah sorry I would do already. At my fish store they say it's normal that a skimmer doesn't skim the surface. I found it a bit weird because the water is also coming in from the top.

Normally it's in the back but for now you can see it a bit better like this. The aquarium is like 3 months old now. The cycle went nicely. Only the top layer is maybe bacteria, but I don't know where they come from.

I didn't see any wavemakers in your tank, so if you don't have one yet I'd look at a small one to break up the surface a bit more.
There is one at the right side, it's very difficult to see with the reflection. You can see the magnet. The water is moving very much, if I put the wavemaker higher than the water will drop out the aquarium.

I was also going to say it looks like it's working fine. What makes you think it isn't?
