What does the alarm do? I understand that when the water level hits the top notch of the sensor it will go off, but will the pump keep pumping water even after the alarm goes off? What is the point of the alarm? If I'm not home, and the alarm goes off, will the water continue to pump water to my tank?
Will this work on rimmed tanks? Do I just need to cut the rim?
What are the overflowing problems with this kit?
Will this work in my display tank?
Does this unit have a auto shut off in case something goes wrong? Maybe a timer or something. Like if something faults out, and the pump keeps pumping water to the tank, will anything trigger and turn off the pump to stop the water from going into the tank?
Can anyone input some issues you are having with this unit?
I just don't know if this unit will work and be reliable.thinking of the tunze osmolator but it's a lot of money for a dang top off system. It beats lugging buckets around though.
