Hydor smart wave

So I have the smart wave controller and 2 nano pumps, is there any way to get it to make a wave lol I have them alternating but doesn't make a wave

Try to move the pumps up high towards the top of the tank if they are too low and don't make waves that means they aren't powerful enough to make waves and or your tank is too long
