Hydor vs Sicce

I have a 55g tank with a Hydor 500DC. It’s almost at the lowest level and it turns water over fast.

My 40g system uses the Syncra 3 and it’s noisy as hell.

Was thinking about buying another Hydor 500 for the 40g (Reefer 170) and tying a manifold in for the reactors.

However on paper the Syncra is 700gph. In person, it feels like the Hydor is more powerful.

Anyone done any comparisons?

i have both as well. I find both of them to be equally silent . I prefer hydor now for low cost and wherever i dont need absolute reliability (not that hydor has failed for me, just because sicce has the reputation)
