I have Red Sea Max S500 with three Hydra 26.

i tried my own settings based on look....not great success.

My friend uses the DmitryTumanov preset on AI website. He said his SPS and LPS love it.

i tried it. The am settings are great...nice blue lighting so my corals glow.

But after noon....it goes way up on Cool White and tank looks boring.

ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE? I want my corals or grow and be healhy but we all like out blue glowing corals.

My last tank had Actinic T-5s...on all day and everything did great and looked great. Why can’t I have that with LEDs?

Thank you for help.

But I would guess there is a reason for each segment of light color and intensity.

This is my schedule

I cant remember which it is but whichever it is it was the scaled down version.
Ill see if I can find out which it is

its the HD lower power respiration spikes.
It works for me but it may not be to your liking so just have fun and play around and see what you like.

This is kind like what I have.
When I first got mine I played around for hours and days with it until I found something I liked, then I saw this and was vaguely similar to what I had without the up and downs, so tried it and liked it and corals like it so ive stuck with it ever since

These both look like Stuarr Bertram prest on AI website. The David Saxby preset he says. He runs 26 Hydra 26 LEDs on his 800 gal reef!

I can assure you mine are'HD lower power respiration spikes'.
David Saxby's schedule is for a very deep tank which im sure most of us haven't got so im under the impression that if anybody used Davids schedule in a normal tank then the corals wouldn't last long.
Im not quite sure what it is you are after, you wanted suggestions, i gave you one, yet you seem to be making a big deal about what my schedule is called, is it important what a schedule is called? It can be called 'my aunt fanny' schedule, doesnt mean it will work or what you like.
My advice is open up the app and play around and see what you like.

Thank you. It only make a difference for me to be able to “try it“. I was hoping to find a good preset people have tried that is working well. Sorry, I am clueless at LEDs still. Yes I agree presets are for HUGE TANKS, with 20 Hydras. I agree, how would that work for my 24”x24”x48” Red Sea.

What I want is:
corals to be healthy
proper lighting
corals to pop we all love - that blue light look

Thank you for your time and replies. Sorry if you mistook my question. I am searching for a solution I bet a ton of experts know...and use for their tanks LEDs.

is it easy to send your preset to others to download. Sorry I don’t know that technology, but it’s very cool for us non-techies.

my tank perameters are perfect, doh, Ca, mg, sg, temp, etc. So lighting is a huge red flag for me to check. My friend said my 8am to 5pm settings were not giving my corals time to rest, and not enough ramp up or lighting changes Through the day.

thanks for you help!!!

personally I would play around until I found a spectrum that I like the colour of and then mess about with the intensity, start low and watch the corals, then just keep adjusting the intensity until your corals tell you they like it. No 2 tanks are the same so having somebody elses presets might not work for you.
Play around, youll enjoy it.
