Do not under estimate these lights. While bored waiting for my tank to get here I decided to plug in my light and set it up with my phone.

I laid the light down on the ottoman and going through the set up. Once I was finished I moved to set my phone down and I accidentally clicked the "on" button on the app. Light was on for 2-3 seconds at the very most. I now have this lovely burn pattern on the furniture.

Ugh, wait till the wife gets home...

I was changing out a couple of T5 bulbs a little while back on my frag tank in my basement. Had to remove my Kessil A360WE to access the T5's. Put it down on the wood shelf next to the tank. Controller turned the Kessil on as it was supposed to without me realizing. It sat for about 5 min. before I smelled wood burning. To my surprise it charred a nice circle in the 3/4" piece of plywood shelf. Luckily I didn't walk away before noticing. Regardless of furniture or shelf it definitely would have started a fire. These led's are powerful!!! Use care! On a side note I never did tell my wife about that one.

Luckily she didn't make you sell the light to get a new ottoman.

Back in 2012 I just had to have the Kessil a350w as soon as it was released and I was on Marine Depot's waiting list.

So, I finally get it and I'm totally pumped. I plug it up and hold it over my RSM 130. It was like magic and my wife loved it too.

So I sit it to the side and screw on the gooseneck. We'll, I get the "bright" idea that I'll screw it on the gooseneck while it was turned on and hovering over the display.

We'll you guessed it... Fumble!!!!! :eek: .... straight down into the display and my wife says: "That's the dumbest thing you've ever done." and (lol) we've been together since 1982.

Kessil did send me a new unit at cost and said don't bother sending us back the original.
