Hydra 26 HD settings for a 16 inch deep reef

I have 2 hydra 26 HD’s coming in the mail for my 40b which is 16 inches deep. I’m switching from a Chinese black box so these lights are completely new to me. What would good settings be for mostly lps, softies and a couple sps on the top? I found these settings on BRS tv but the uv seems high compared to what others suggest.

Probably could run this close to 100% of the specific percentages per color. Scroll down and you’ll find the 26hd settings. I’d send mine but I’m running a shallower tank at about 2/3.

Great thread, you Don’t think 118% UV is too much? A lot of people say it will burn corals and to keep it under 40

I’ve got a 12” talk tank. You do 100%/+, off the bat you’re killing some stuff. The light is powerful! Definitely acclimate

How long do you recommend acclimating for?

These are the settings I’ve always used and these are the Red Sea Reef Spec settings

I’ve used these since I started other than I go ‘blue’ in the evenings because I like that.

Red and green are 0 to avoid possible algae growth

Do they work, well you be the judge of that and check my build to see how the corals have grown....
