hydra 26 mounting

Hey so I have the 40 gal nuvo aio by IM and I am wanting to upgrade to the hydra 26's and I was wondering about their mounting systems. would their dual mounting system work on this tank? it's 24 in wide and I'm not sure if it would fit on it or not?

If not should i just opt for the single mounts and get 2 of them?

Not for sure about the dual mount. I have 2 hydras with singe mount on a 80 gallon tank that is 48 by 24 wide and it’s doing great for me .

I think 2 would be Overkill on your tank. I'd go with one and just a single tank mount or flex mount

Well i ask bc i was given the okay from my wife on this annnnnnnnnd i don't see her giving me the okay to buy all of this again any time soon. So i want to go ahead and do this now.....i was basically told i could spend $1000 on lights so i'm going to. haha

I bought the flex mount and was really dissapointed by how tall it was and it was not flexible in the right way to fit on my tank as I wanted it. I am trying the single mount that hangs on the tank. I had a single mount that mounted behind the tank on my 60 gal cube and I thought it worked very well.

Single mount works great. Did not like the flex either .

Single mount works great. Did not likes the flex either .
