Hydra 26 not turning on automatically

Hello,

I have a 2 yr old hydra 26 that i recently acquired. The light works only when i restart it by unplugging it and holding the button. I do this daily.

What is wrong with the light and how can I help it?

is it HD or non HD? and how is it connected? wired or wireless. controller or director etc.

Thank you. It is non-hd and is not wired to a controller or director, although I have a director. I don't know how to set it up so I just left it in the box.

It is non-hd and it not being controlled by a controller or director. I do have a director, but it is in the box still as I haven't figured out how to set it up.

If it's an older one you need to leave the director plugged into it in order for it to work.
