Do you have a spread sheet of your schedule? I kinda understand how to set it up but no clue on what I should do for ramping

I have it set for the blues to be fairly heavy with fast ramp up and flat through the day, then a long decline in the evening. The whites are set for a gradual rise/fall over the day with a full hour at peak intensity. I am running the red very low and no green as the white channel fills most of the need for this spectrum.

My photon v2 24 comes in tomorrow! I think I’m going to set it 8inchs off the water line! Is that okay or hire

I started mine at 8" but did not like the strong disco effects and hot spotting from the red and green LED's produced at that height. There were heavy shadows along the rock work as well as a sharp drop-off in par across the bottom of the tank. I was getting 150 PAR at 45% directly under the light on the bed, but fell to 60 in the back corners. From across the room the tank took on almost a cheap digital moving picture appearance. So I raised it up to 12" and it made all the difference in the world. There is still plenty of shimmer, but the coverage is much more uniform with minimal shadowing, and all but eliminated the hot spots from the red led's. PAR readings flattened out as well with 120 under the lights at mid-day peak output and only falling to 90 in the corners. Moving it up to 12" and the expanded LED layput gives it almost a hybrid LED/T5 appearance depending on the channel settings with the uniform coverage and shimmer.
