My lights are dead. I was able to update firmware on the 2 child lights and tried to update the parent yesterday. It went out and I was not able to connect to it again after several reset and unplug attempts. The child lights went out normally last night and back on this morning but the paren is still not responsive.

I unplugging all of them and now the children are out with a solid blue light (connected to wifi) and did a 10 second reset but the parent indicator light is solid PINK.

I get a timeout when I try to connect with the AI app on my phone.

All lights are now off. Of course, on Sunday. I tried submitting a support request with Red Sea but got an error.
Can I override something to get at least the 2 child lights to come on?

Have you tried the factory reset of the back of the lights?

I would try support from AI instead of Red Sea.

Sounds like the parents shot so i would reset up one of the remaining lights as a parent and the 2nd as a child and see if you can at least get them going until you get ahold of ai.

This happens to me all the time. It is very frustrating.

This is the response I got for a hard reset.

To complete the hard reset, please complete the following steps:

1. Unplug the light from power
2. Hold down the reset button while the light is not connected to power
3. Connect the light to power and release the reset button after 3 seconds
4. Allow up to 2 minutes for the light boot up (flashing teal indicates a light is in boot up mode)\

Hope this helps. Also sometimes it takes me several tries.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried all the reset options with the parent and it still just displays a pink/orange steady indicator light.

I did a reset on all and set up one of the other lights as a parent and it recognized one of the others. So I have two lights working.
I'll contact AI for warranty support. This one appears to have died.

Follow up. AI took care of me and sent me a replacement light with a shipping label to return the old one. Cheers.
