I can't seem to find a schedule that's I'm happy with for my 60 shallow. I went from Hydra 26 NON HD to HD, I used some of the presets and don't like them. Then a buddy did made a basic schedule for me but it seems to "hot". Below is pics of tank and the current schedule.
Any help on a schedule would be greatly appreciated

I would tune down the whites. Here’s what I’m running. How high do you have your lights? I have three hydra 26s on my 75.

Did you make this schedule?

Yes. I took a few similar schedules along with some reading and tweaked them to create this schedule. Why do I have the up's and down's in my schedule, so that I can give the corals a break for the intensity, you might say like cloud effect. I found that blasting the corals all day with burn the tips. I also found that running the light 12" off the water was better then running them a 9" or 10" off the water for better spread and the intensity to spread out more for better growth.:)

I run the lunar cycle a 1% so that I can see the system when the lights go down except during a new moon and the system is dark.

FYI, corals like a steady light schedule besides steady parameters;) Make changes will effect the system over time, make a change and wait two weeks, make a change and wait two weeks. If you do up load any schedule use the acclamation cycle for at least a month then wait.:) I have not use a par meter and maybe one day when I hit the big lotto win I might get one to see exactly what my readings are.:D

I been playing with my lights for a week. I like your schedule as you see on mine it is just blasting the tank .My lights are 13 inches off the water. I went from non HD to HD. So acliacclima I didn't think would be a big deal. Can you send me a link to ur schedule

I like Nano Karen's on AI site - more blue than Saxby's program

If you have a local reef society in your area, they often have par/lux meter's to loan out. You may have to join to qualify. Also: some LFS's have them to borrow if you're on good terms (you spend money there).

Here's mine. I spent far too much time on this and then far too much more time transferring it to Apex control. :)

Here's the tank. 3 Hydra 26HDs. I've also added a bank of T5s (blue+ x 2, actinic x 2), but the corals were already doing well with just the LEDs (I added the T5s mostly to reduce shadowing.)

I like that schedule. I want alot of "light" time but the scedsche I have now is too much l, at 7am the lights were on. I like it in a way but I feel like it will fry my corals.

Everything looks good: lobos/symphillias, stylos, sticks, etc. I'll give it a try.
Thanks again.
