Hey everyone, I thought I saw a post on this the other day but now I can't find it.

I picked up a AI Hydra 26 for my 40B that I will be working to get setup over the next couple weeks. I am going to be buying a second 26 when the tank is up and cycled.

My question for R2R is what are you guys running for settings? I'm hoping to grow SPS but may start with some easier coral first so I am interested in settings for all types.

I know everyone will have completely different settings, just looking to get a rough idea for where I should be.

Thanks In Advance.

I run 4 of them on a 180. My peak is only 65%. You will probably have to turn them down quite a bit on a 40B.

I am sure I won't be running them at full power, that was part of my goal when choosing lighting option. I wanted to cover the majority of my tank with SPS PAR levels without having to max out lights to achieve.

Thank you. I will definitely be giving this a try. Based on BRS testing, these settings for 26HDs got closer to AB+ Spectrum than the 52HDs could at all.
