Hydra 26 wifi connection

As I know hydra26 wifi connection is not really good. I’m looking to purchase 2, but I have few questions about it wifi function.
After we connect to the app set up the schedule and spectrum, if the light lose connection to wifi, would it remember the setup?
Do you have to reset everything ( intensity, time) after power/internet outage?
Anyone have experience with this light?

Yes your light will still work if it loses WiFi! It only needs a connection if you want to control it remotely.
Head over to http://www.aquaillumination.com/signature/
They have several presets you can download. You have to use a computer to upload to the light, doesn’t work on the app

Thank you, I just want to be sure before spending, cuz I’m away from ome quite often, my family member help me do other maintanance but not the light

I mean it is good for it to have a Wi-Fi connection so that the firmware can stay up to date.
Also makes changing the schedule or adjusting things from your phone super easy even when you’re not at home

I have 2 26s its was a little of a pain to setup but the wifi is amazing. I can be an work and link to the cloud and switch the settings or turn them on etc.

Just bought two of them and I had a crazy time setting them up initially it’s like they didn’t want to connect - finally after sometime I got them running and understood the scheduling app which can be confusing at first -

Now when I have to unplug lights etc and replug them they take about a minute or 2 and come back and the schedule is still there ...

I’ve heard people say the lunar and storm settings should be off because of buga that may interfere with schedule or light settings

Agreed the initial setup was a bit of a pain. What I found from someone who installs them all the time is when the app is setting up the light you set your phone down and let it finish completely ... I got impatient the first couple times I tried felt like the setup took to long so I exited the app and the lights work but where not fully setup

It's not the networking it's the app / setup. Just takes a while
