has anyone had their lights randomly disconnect and have the green LED spectrum starting flashing?

my wife sent me a video of one of my 26HD's flashing the green spectrum.
i get home and reset the light, now both lights are having all kinds of connection issues, unfortunately this was on my lunch break so i could only mess with it for about 30 minutes(with no resolution)
incredibly frustrating, received my first light with a broken fan, get a replacement, second light didnt function at all. got the replacement and had everything working perfectly for a short period of time, now more issues...

That stinks man, I haven't had any issues with mine. Its been running for over 6 months now, and I don't have internet at the house, so the only connection issues that I've had are the ones that occur while it's connected to wifi with my phone. Even then, it just kicks me back to the log in screen on the phone app. Never had any issues with flickering lights picking their own intensities. Good luck
 
It might need to perform a complete reset. Did you tried to reset via the APP or computer? I find it easier to setup the connection with computer.

Tried using the APP. I only have a desktop computer that does not connect with wifi.
I got both lights working after work yesterday, wake up this morning to leave for work and 1 light has the indicator flashing red and the other flashing blue/green.

does anyone know how to delete the "tankprofile" on the myAI app?
want to start completely over
 
One of mine flashes green sometimes but has always functioned correctly. I believe when it flashes green it's trying to re-connect to the parent light.

the actual LED spectrum? im not talking about the little button indicator light.
the whole tank was being lit up with green flashes every few seconds.

I'm actually not positive, at night it seems pretty bright but it may just be the button. sorry I'm not much help I thought it was the same thing
 
Do you perhaps have the storm effect on? It causes flashes to simulate lightning. If so, try turning that option off.

Was able to delete the tank profile and start from scratch.
the lights ran a firmware update, linked together and appear to be running flawlessly.

went ahead and switched to the David Saxby spectrum and schedule. The look of that mans tank, something has to be right lol.
 
Would you post his setting here? I'm struggling to find decently researched ones that are in use. I had one up for a couple months, and any acro that went into my tank nuked overnight... so I lowered the light settings thinking I was burning them. Acro STILL doesn't like my tank. So, that said and figured out the hard way, I would like to set the light back to something good looking and used in someone else's tank with success.
