I purchased a Waterbox aquarium with AI Hydra 32 HD's and have been trying to find a light schedule that works well. I found a modified David Saxby schedule that lowers the whites and adds some moon lights.

What I am noticing though is that the lights are on the same schedule but different color temperatures. The right light is more royal blue where as the left is more aqua blue.

Is this due to some light schedules being designed for Hydra 26 and 52's? Or is there something wrong with the individual light? I plan to call AI on Monday.

Are they paired up as parent and child? Have you set them to manual and adjusting the blues?
I have heard incidents of the spectrum not matching up and required a replacement.

I had this same problem. I picked up 2x Hydra 26 for my new 120g. Their spectrum didn’t align so I sent them into AI (spending a ton on shipping). They then offered to send me Hydra 32 as replacements, which I was really excited about. Then I got them in and it was the exact same problem. I ended Up selling them.

This is what I see under devices:

it might also be that I have the Hydra 32 HDs and I was running Saxby’s preset which if o remember right, he is using 26’s. So it’s a possibility that older presets don’t work with newer models.

Currently I’m running a preset that is designed for 32’s and the color spectrum matches correctly.
