Wanting to upgrade my lighting from 2 hydra 26s. On a Reefer 250
Just cant decide,
If any of you guys own them please share your thoughts especially if you have used both.
I run a mixed reef

Ask yourself this, have your 26’s performed to expectations? If you have been happy go the 32’s. If you have the hydra mounts they will work with the 32’s and your lighting present will go over to the 32’s. Plus you are likely to stress the corals way less if at all changing to the 32’s. I have seen great results with both lights but no personal experience with the xr15. you will probably have to pay way more at the end of the day with the radions. I will be upgrading to the newer tech as well and that is what convinced me to stay with the hydras. Hail Hydra!

Good advice man, thats exactly what makes me want to stick with the hydras. Including the app that makes lighting schedule easy, can use the same mounts and less likely to stress coral like you mentioned.
Although, many people including online retailers and lfs use radions to grow more and get amazing color from their corals. I have never personally used them so I have no experience with them. So the unknown potential is what keeps me slightly holding on to possibly getting Radions.

I read somewhere that 26s are a stronger light then the 52. That the wattage is lower per pick do to the amount where as the 26 has max power
