Well my experience with the photon v2 pro light has been nothing but frustration and awful. I brought the innovative marine 25 gallon lagoon aquarium to start my frag tank and I heard so much about this light so I bought it 24inch. First off couldn't use their app because it wouldn't download properly wasted 2 hrs with that. So I purchased the apex integration piece to change out and be able to control with my apex. Problem solved....nope! Watching the instalation video they say hook up to the two ports After 30 minutes of evaluating and checking things out I do not have those 2 ports so they told I would have to buy the vdm led and pumps control module from neptune for $104.95. After receiving this piece I watched the instilation video where you have to take the plate holding the led (bulbs) in place unscrew like 25-30. Tiny screws use a hairdryer to soften the pinkish wax holding the plastic pieces that have all the wires connected to it and pull them out without actually pulling the wires which was a feat because the wax wasn't only on the surface but inside where you have to pull them out. Finally after putting it all back together and f*** together and following yet another video and how to program it programming and get it started I wi've watched it at least a dozen times and did exactly step-by-step and my Apex fusion screen looks nothing like his on the video after installing the channels. After 5.5 frustrating hrs. needless to say the lights sit there still not working. I'm ready to send it back to brs and just go with the Aquatic life hybrid which I have over my main system and I have no problems whatsoever and programed and installed all the lights etc within 45 minutes. I've emailed them twice now still no response
