Hello I'm upgrading my tank to a 60 gallon 48 long 17x17 tank and I currently have two AI 16hd. Can I get away with buying two 32hds and adding it onto the tank with the primes? I have a mix tanks with maybe one clam and some low end sticks.

Initially I wanted to buy some orpheks, but money is a little tight and I bought some MP40s etc etc. Any input?

Each prime covers 24x24 so I would just get a third prime for the middle or 2 more and spread them out some more.

3 primes won’t cut it for SPS or a clam. You can mix them since the Hydra are just two Prime in one body. I’d just put the Hydra over the most demanding inhabitants.

Yes I would put the 32s on the outside and the primes next to each other inside

I was planning on doing two prime 16hds in the middle and 1 32hd on the outside each side. So a total of 2 primes and 2 hydras. So I guess technically that would be a total of 6 prime 16hds in total.
