Hydra 32HD

I’m extremely frustrated with this light and was wondering if any of you had some advice. I already had put two hydra 26HDs on my 135 about a month ago and love them. I decided to add another one but my lfs only had the new 32HDs. I decided they can’t be that much different and grabbed one without doing any research.

When I got home I realized there is no WiFi connect only bluetooth. Almost every day it seems my light just randomly disconnects from my phone and programming. I have to factory reset it every time because no matter what else I do it won’t reconnect. It almost never follows the schedule I set and just doesn’t work for more than a day after resetting it. Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can fix it or am I just gonna have to put it on the shelf for now.

Does anybody else think it's odd that one of the most popular reef lights is named after one of the most despised invasive animals? When somebody says they just got hydras I never know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

With my experience so far it’s a bad thing either way lol
This light might end up just being a 300$ shelf ornament which is kinda sad but I guess I’ve learned my lesson about research.

I've had similar troubles with the light. I can't even set it because it loses connection with the bluetooth. I've had 3 of their AI Primes and they were great, but this light seems rushed.
