Hydra 52 and the new 52 HD's

I have 8 hydra 52 (reg) linked to my Director, and has been working great. Now one of my lights have a red flashing light on the side, I tried a reset a couple of times with no success. If I end up having to replace the unit and get the HD version will I be able to control it through my director with all of my other lights?

Any help would be much appreciated

I don't have any experience with Hydras, but maybe someone from the #reefsquad can help.

You can sync HD and non-HD lights to the same tank. I sent an email to AquaIllumination about that a few days ago.
