So my family may not be happy but we are supposed to leave for Disney on Saturday morning and I am not going. All of a sudden my hydras are craping out and I cant trust them while I am gone. Should have spent the extra money for the radions, but that is another story. All of a sudden one of my child lights is no longer linked to the parent. Have no idea why it just stopped. Anyone know why it happened and what the best course of action is? I am not happy and honestly would love to sledge hammer this garbage equipment. Was supposed to be gone for 8 days and cant risk these things getting stuck on.

Habe you tried holding the button down resetting it and reconnect to parent. If that doesnt work you can make that one the parent.

Call aqua illumination tech support. Have you opened a case for help? They are pretty good at getting back to you with suggestions. Have you tried to completely delete the profile and re link the lights to your app? Unplug and leave off for 15 mins, While the light resets, reset your router and modem... then reconnect and try to reinstall from scratch..
Ive been using AI lighting for nearly 10 years without issue. Only a few bad apples out there.

It happens to me once in a great while...I go to the devices and delete the child. From there I reset the lights till the child shows up again and follow the directions on connecting..hope this makes since

I owned mine for about 3 yrs and have only had that issue once. Do reconnect from master light or, try what @Saltyreef suggests. I wouldn't cancel a trip over it.

A reset should cure issue. There are a couple videos on You tube also that should assist you

Hopefully you got a reset done. At worst unplug and delete everything and start from scratch to see if it works.

@Huskymaniac

Just my opinion but corals come and go. Family time to Disney especially for 8 days cannot be recreated. Redone yes, same as now, no. I would unplug everything and go on the trip. If a coral dies as a sacrifice for time with the family so be it, but equal chance is it may make it thru as long as it has ambient light and not a total black out.

Everyone situation is different

I ended up deleting all of the programs and running all 3 individually so none are paired. I actually look at it in the reverse. Have over 7 grand in corals. Some over a decade old. Most are irreplaceable. Can always go back to Disney in a month but cant get another 50 head frogspawn piece, lol. So far everything is good.
