Today I am going to replace my Hydra non HD’s with the new HD models. In terms of acclimating is it safe to assume that if I keep my intensities the same then the par should be virtually identical.

When switching lights, its always best to run an acclimation. The HD model may be higher wattage and therefore more powerful more par. On one fixture 50% intensity may produce more par on the HD than 50% intensity on the non HD. Better safe than sorry I always say :)

Generally, the seller will produce grids showing the par values of a fixture at a variety of depths. BRS shows them for fixtures they sell. On new fixtures the information is easy to get. The trick is getting the information for an led fixture. But if you find both, you can compare and see if the light intensity is different.

Doesn’t even matter. These lights suck. Can’t even get them to connect to my network. On top of that my 26hd on my nano no longer connects. Beyond frustrated and and just going to return them and get ecotechs. Probably lost 5 years off my lifespan dealing with this today.
