Hello everyone. I am a new reefer. I have purchased a Hydra 52 for my 54g corner reef tank. Since I have installed this light. I have been cleaning my tank for algae every day. I have a mix tank of SPS and LPS. I am wondering if anyone could help me to set up the in tensity. Thank you.

Try the following, these channel levels work great for me...
UV - 75%
V - 80%
RB - 85%
DB - 90%
CW - 50%
G - 20%
R - 10%
If us set that to your peak daytime level with a 4 hour ramp (up & down) and 4 hour peak that's plenty and is 12 hours of light. Corals favor the spectrum for chlorophyll A but in the blue/violet wavelength at around 430nm

However most algae, especially problem algae like the higher wavelengths in the red spectrum.
The settings I use push the peak wavelength in that 430nm-460nm zone. Lowering the white and especially the red should help limit algae growth given you have nutrients like nitrate and phosphate under control.

Thank you Lenny. I greatly appreciate your reply. I just adjusted my lights settings as you suggested. I will certainly let you know the result. Thanks again.

No problem... One additional thought.... Because you are changing the intensity you might want to also apply like a 50% acclimation mode for a week
