A few days ago the 52HD took a swim after the plastic part of the D-D slimline bracket snapped....at the time the LED's werent lit but the power bar tripped off.

Fished it out, rinsed well in RO water and left to dry thoroughly. I've turned it on today and the LED's are all lighting in a regular blinking pattern - LED's seem fine but no control at all....can't connect to them via wifi through the app even with a reset. Anyone have any suggestions? This is my first marine tank and only just getting towards the end of cycling so pretty gutted as I've not even got livestock in yet.

I would call or email AI ask for advice and tell them the story. Sounds like u need a new main board if the Led pucks still work.

Sounds like you may still have a short somewhere. When you say left to dry. How long? I’d suggest blowing out the inner unit with compressed air to ensure all the water is out from under the ICs (especially the leadless chips and connectors) and from between the PCB and the sink since AI doesn’t conformal coat the PCB. Also when cleaning circuits it helps to use IPA instead of water.
