Hello reefers. Need some information about mounting arms of AI please. I have 3 HYDRA 64HD lights and i want to single mount each one on my tank. In AI website the HMSSA Single Arm kit is described as a mount for rimless tanks only but with max glass thickness of 3cm. So if my "rim" is less than 3cm i can use this mount or it has to grab on a glass? Anyone has used this in rimmed aquarium?

My tank is surrounded by a wooden frame and as you can see from the attached photos its thickness is 2cm. I can use the "rimless" mount of AI here?

The original design of the mounts would only allow for installation on rimless tank, at least without some creative solutions. The mounts have been redesigned to work on rimmed tanks as well. I have used them on a 40b and my 75 (both rimmed) with no issues.

You used the AI HMSSA Single Arm Kit right? Whats the thickness of your rim that you put the mount on?
