Hydra hitchiking on Nassarius Snail?

Sorry for the title. Maybe not Hydra but one of the snails from Liveaquaria has this weird thing on its shell. They are white colored with green on the tips.

Cowery? I dont think so. But the hair things on its shell is interesting.

.the protrusions reminded me of the cowerie...

But now on the pc i can see the little polyps...must be a type of hydroid.
Might be able to scrape off his shell..but keep out of dt til hes clean.

Must agree with hydroids and for the amount present on that shell, they look invasive

@KJ @reef lover @sixty_reefer OK so are they harmful? They do glow in green under blue light which is cool!

Shouldnt irritate coral on a shell....but they could spread...
