Hydra mounts the worst

Bought hydras with mounts but the mounts are garbage
I am missing so many parts on t looks used and well just garbage for he money I paid
Anyone know if the way I put the mount on the tank will break the glass in time ? The plastic screw is touching the glass.

Imo there should be a larger surface area at the glass so it doesnt break. Might be able to diy a platic washer of some sorts.

I have seen some creative items used to reduce the pressure . Poker chips, legos, small piece of plexiglass, ect. My tank was close enough to the wall I drilled 2 holes in the groove of that runs along the center of the mount and hung them directly to the wall.
