What about having a 36-48 Current marine orbit led? Is that enough for a bta? I've read mixed reviews about anemones. There's been some success stories so I thought maybe giving it a shot. Ultimately, if it isn't enough, I could get a Hydra ai prime hd as a boost for the anemone. The tank would mostly be softies and maybe some lps, and of course the bta.

I mean like having the Current and the Prime hd. The Current sort of for the whole tank and the Prime specifically for the anemone.

Its going to be hard to mix them given how they mount. There is bound to be some shadow from the current for the light from prime, unless you put the prime very low.

My prime setup on similar length tank. First pic i found that had the lights in it. Sorry for poor quality lol

I would recommend 3 primes for a 40 inch long tank. Two primes is really not a lot of light or coverage.

How about a LED and T5 hybrid? (I know I’m constantly changing my mind, there’s just so many different types to consider) It’s 90cm long.

From what I’ve researched 4 AI prime hd for a 4 foot tank, or 2 Hydra 26 should be suitable for that size tank! I just ordered my Hydra’s and am happy to post a picture to show coverage. I’m upgrading from 2 current Led strips that just didn’t have the oomph for some of my sps and lower LPS. Here’s the BRS Par maps for 4 AI primes (and I would think similar for 2 hydra 26)
