I've never used it as a spray, only the pinhole in foil way on frags and only ever used it on hair algae and bubble algae. Always works great IME. What kind of algae do you have?Likely for both frags and rocks. I know most corals are tolerant to the peroxide so I'm not too worried about the frags, but the rock is my main concern. I'm battling an inherited algae infestation and thought this may drastically speed up the process. Do you know of any algae types that aren't affected as much by the spray?
The cyano I would siphon out and peroxide always works great on hair algae for me.Correction: "Spray" should really have been "stream" in my last post in order to keep with the terminology. I mainly have red slime algae and green hair.
I have gotten most of the cyano off the sandbed, but I have yet to get to the sizable amount living on my rock. Should I manually remove this or use the peroxide? The cyano I would siphon out and peroxide always works great on hair algae for me.
