Does hydrogen peroxide work on bubble algea? What is the best way to get rid of this nuisance??? And if I do peroxide, do I take the rock out and treat it? How long do I let it set? And then rinse?

Thanks!

Get yourself a foxface or rabbitfish. It'll be gone in days.

I have a purple tang and an emerald crab. It has gianed on then by bounds!

Vibrant Reef Aquarium (16 oz) Gone in a week or two for me

I've found emerald crabs are hit and miss. Tried about 1/2 dozen of them. I moved a foxface from one tank to another and it literally inhaled bubble algae in a week. (It also doubled in size in all directions. In my latest 65 gal I had an outbreak of bubble algae (some were marble size) added a bi-colored rabbitfish and it's a "HOOVER" on bubble algae.

My rock was covered in it. I took each rock out scrubbed them and put them back in. And haven’t had a problem since

Yes peroxide sprayed on bubble algae will kill it. I have removed the infested rock. Sprayed it waiting about 10 min rinsed it in salt water. Also scrub as many bubbles off as you can while out of the tank, rinse well
