Hydrogen peroxide and Dino

Long story short life got busy, tank was neglected and crashed. Current stock are fishes, CUC, various Zoas and sps.

I finally got parameters back to normal, but I have a ton of HA and what seems to be a Dino outbreak after cleaning my sand bed, rocks and sump of detritus.

I'm thinking about adding H2o2. I've been reading threads but they're unclear about affect upon my live stock. Will it be safe if I add 1 ml / 10 gal? Will it kill my beneficial bacteria?

hope this helps, I made a firm call 'no' on bacterial harm in any measurable way from this many examples linked in the thread. others may disagree, and those threads can be analyzed for comparison.

with dinos, peroxide applications are hit and miss, the key is to make a safe application run, to try. a lysmata cleaner is the only animal I can think of that would die from a brief trial of 1:10

Peroxide will have no negative effect on the beneficial bacteria.
It is safe to use but does upset ORP for a brief time.

also wanted to add that 2/5 of the most recent dino threads were cyano, lets see what we are working with am curious

For any tank considering peroxide there are alternates and even though I would def use peroxide in my reef for GHA, I wouldn't for dinos. Not that we can't make a safe attempt, but dinoxal is simply moving into number one documented turnaround in the threads. I would use in my tank what is featured in large threads and Dinoxal is in the lead for sure, currently, IMO
