I am new to hydrogen peroxide dip, I know it’s safe for zoas, but I don’t know how to do it. Do I use straight hydrogen peroxide, or do I water it Down?

Start with 90% tank water to 10% hydrogen peroxide (3% strength) for 1 to 2 minutes and see if that does what you need.

If not, try again in a couple of days, increasing H2O2 up to 50%. I've done this strength without any permanent damage.

What are you trying to accomplish? I don't usually do this except to rid zoas of GHA.

+1 on what they said. I’ve done quite a few peroxide dips and each zoa reacts a little different. Brushing them lightly with a small soft brush while in the dip helps too.

If your trying to get rid of Bryopsis on the frags don’t get your hopes up with the peroxide dip.

I’m have dipped one of my zoas in 100% strength 3% peroxide. Cleaned the zoa plug in less than 10hrs of all algae.

I didn’t know at the time you shouldn’t do 100% strength so I guess I got lucky. The zoa was opened the next day as if nothing happened.

I do 100% dips at 3% for every zoa too but only on zoas. For all other corals I drip 3% all around them to clean the plugs avoiding the flesh.
