I have a 13.5 gallon Nano tank. I noticed that 3 out of 8 of my corals have hair algae on them. I have looked at several videos about using Peroxide to get rid of the algae. I have seen videos where they use a syringe and shoot at right at the algae while in the tank. This method I have questions about because could it potentially nuke your tank. I have seen where they have taken Corals out and dipped them. Is their certain corals that cant be dipped or generally will all corals be ok in a dip. I am trying to figure out what would be the best way to use peroxide to remove algae for my nano and wanted to see what other members have done with it and what has worked for them.

i have used a syringe underwater to eliminate Aptasia. The Europeans use an Oxogonator & hydrogen peroxide to maintain reef tanks. You could also soak toothbrush with hydrogen peroxide and brush rock underwater.

To eliminate GHA on a rock with coral, I dip for 10 minutes into a 10% solution of 3% H202.
