(Rotten egg smell) What is the best way to remove this? It is a 25 gallon lagoon started with 20lb of dry rock and 20lbs of live sand. Tank is 1 month old there is no fish tank just finished the cycle 3 days ago 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and there was nitrate at 10ppm just did a 20% waterchange will be doing another 10% tomorrow and another the next day because of the smell. I am running filter floss 90g of marine pure and a small bag of carbon. I also just started using a UV due to cloudy water. Lights are also always off.

People have said that it could have been caused do to stiring the sand bed which sadly I did do but it was about a week ago when I did because I was moving a piece of rock that kept falling but is now secured.

So now I'm just stuck not sure what to do next.

Run some carbon

Rotten egg smell indicate ammonia but after 1 month there should be none.
some algae has really bad smell but again your tank is a bit too new for that.
you mentioned cloudy water not long ago so that could be related to your bacterial bloom.
I would do bigger water change like 20-30% and probably carbon in a tennis ball size bag.
you may even get away with just waiting a a week or so.

I'd say increase oxygenation and increase flow in tank. Are you running a skimmer and a powerhead?
Skimmer no as I was told by many that its not worth it at a tank that size and power head yea I have 1 nero 3 running at 63% (1500) gph

Awesome thank you will be getting carbon tomorrow morning! And bump up the water change.

So I have performed a 30% water change and added carbon since Thursday but the rotten smell is still going strong what more can I do?
