Hydroid?

Found it in my sump... should I be worried? Can I just squish it if bad? They’re hard to remove.. very small.

Following... That doesn't look like the Hydroids I had. Is that filament attaching it to the glass/acrylic part of it's structure??

yes, it’s attached to the acrylic, looks like.
The colors and movement are hypnotizing!
